After receiving a hickey from his boyfriend, a closeted teen must hide it from his hyper-masculine best friend as they enter a cat and mouse game through their abandoned high school. Lighthead was nominated for Best Cinematography at the 2023 Chilliwack Independent Film Festival. It has screened at the Chicago CineYouth International Film Festival, the Seattle National Film Festival for Talented Youth and the Concordia Film Festival.
